Theona "Toni" Jeanette Anderson, 82, of Albany died Saturday at her Albany residence.

She was born in Ortonville, Minn., the daughter of Jacob and Mary (Jacobson) Jacobson. Toni was raised in Minnesota and married Harold Anderson in Ortonville on June 27, 1942. In 1953, Harold and Toni moved to Washington, and then in 1956 came to Albany, where they have lived since that time.

She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, where she was very active singing in the choir, leading the children's choir and teaching Sunday school.

Toni also enjoyed playing the piano and being with her family. In later years, Toni and Harold enjoyed snowbirding to Arizona.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Harold Anderson; sons Jerry Anderson of Kenai, Alaska, Charley Anderson of Dallas, Rod Anderson of Newport, and Tom Anderson of Albany; daughters Janet Gale of Helena, Mont., and Bonnie Walker of Longview, Wash.; 24 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren, and 11 and three-quarters great-great-grandchildren. Toni was preceded in death by a sister, Gladys; brothers Orlin and Julian; and great-granddaughter Kaila Danielle Prother.

Visitation will be from 1 to 7 p.m. Thursday at AAsum-Dufour Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the Faith Lutheran Church. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, the American Diabetes Association or Faith Lutheran Church in care of the funeral home.
