Claude Aaron Tarver-Age 83, a longtime resident of McIntosh, Alabama died February 18, 2008 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He worked as a Superintendent at Olin Chemical, a WWII Veteran serving in the U.,S. Army and was an active member of McIntosh United Methodist Church. Survived by: sons, Andrew (Cathy) Tarver of Baton Rouge, LA., Joseph Tarver of Ponte Verdra Beach, FL., daughter, Sandra (Richard) Sacco of Albany, GA, granddaughters, Emily Sacco (Sewell) Avant of Atlanta, GA, Carrie Sacco of Fayetteville, NC., Ashley Tarver (Nathan) Donald of Baton Rouge, LA, Stephanie Tarver of Baton Rouge, LA; grandson, Aaron Tarver of Ponte Verdra Beach, FL; sisters, Anna Evans of Fairford, AL., Carolyn Moore of Satsuma. He was predeceased by his wife of 60 years, Doris Jewel Gartman Tarver and sister, Mae Stanton. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 19, 2008 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Lathan Funeral Home in Jackson, AL. Service will be Wednesday, February 20, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at McIntosh United Methodist Church. Interment will be in McIntosh Methodist Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Shriners Childrens Hospital. Arrangements by Lathan Funeral Home in Jackson, Alabama.
