      Florene Davis Carrigan
      Florene Davis Carrigan, 85, of Amarillo, died Tuesday, Sept. 21, 1999.

      Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the San Jacinto Assembly of God
      Church with the Rev. Melvin Suttle, pastor, and the Rev. Ed Carrigan,
      a son, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery by Holley
      Funeral Home Inc. of Canyon.

      Mrs. Carrigan was born in Gunner and had lived in Amarillo since 1938.
      She was a homemaker and a member of San Jacinto Assembly of God
      Church. She was a charter member of the First Assembly of God Church.

      She married John A. Carrigan in 1936 at Tioga. He died in 1990.

      Survivors include two daughters, Billie Ann Carson of Amarillo and
      Mary Jo Beavers of Athens; two sons, Col. Jimmy Carrigan of San
      Antonio and the Rev. Ed Carrigan of New York City; two brothers, Jack
      Davis of Burleson and Leland Davis of Blessing; seven grandchildren;
      and five great-grandchildren.

      The family will receive visitors from 6 until 8 p.m. today at the
      funeral home. They requests memorials be to the E.R. Foster
      Scholarship Fund at San Jacinto Assembly of God Church.
