      Linda Kay (Sea) Grote-Lavergne, 66, passed away at home in Oregon on January 9, 2018. She was born in 1951 in Everett, Washington to Wilbur and Norma Sea. Linda grew up with her sister, Marilee and brother, Michael. Linda and her first husband, Mike raised their sons in Everett too. During her early years, Linda worked for the P.U.D. and made many friends. She later moved to Louisiana and married Ravis Lavergne and lived there until his death. While in the south, Linda drove school bus and worked retail. She had an amazing green thumb, and loved time in the garden! She absolutely adored her family and friends. Linda had recently returned to the Pacific Northwest to be near family. She is survived by her sons, Richard (Victoria) and Michael (Tara) Grote; four granddaughters: Ava, Bella, Everly and Brianna; and grandson, Bradley; brother, Michael (Patty) Sea; and sister, Marilee Richards; cousins, Mary Jo (Clark) Wilkins and Cindy Rall; uncle, Gordon Tweit; and aunt, Eloise Rall; and many Grote and other family and friends. A Memorial Service to celebrate Linda's life will be held on Monday, January 29, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Central Lutheran Church, 2702 Rockefeller Ave, Everett, WA.
