      Clayton was the son of Pete and Virginia Tamplen. He was born December 24, 1949 in Clinton, Indiana and passed from this life on January 17, 2013 at age 63.
      Clayton was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Pam Tolleson, and nephew, Chris Hudson.
      He is survived by his daughter, Terri Baon and husband, Daniel, of Whitesboro; and Donna Womack and husband, Jackie, of Houston; two sisters: Peggy Hudson and Kathy Kost, both of Sadler; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
      Sonny loved to fish. He always had his fishing poles ready. He loved to play Dominoes and enjoyed spending time with his friends and family.
      Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home in Whitesboro, Texas. There will be a visitation service on Saturday, January 19, from 6-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
