Abraham Rasmusson Davick (25) was the third of seven children born to Rasmus Pederson Davick (1839 - 1919) and Kari Abrahamsdatter Lein. He emigrated from Bergen, Norway on June 5, 1885 with the ship named National Line. He travelled with his two brothers, Valborg and Christen. The three brothers came after their older brother,Peder Valdemar Rasmusson Daviknes immigrated to South Dakota. (Peder emigrated Apr. 12 1882 with National line).
Abraham's emigrated in 1885 he sold the farm to Peder Amundson Dale, they were not in family. During the time following the sale of the farm until the brothers left, they lived on the Hamre farm with Kari`s sister Simianne Abrahamsdatter.The brothers immigrated to South Dakota from Davik, Norway going from Bergen to New York City.
Abraham was survived by his parents, Rasmus and Kari, and five of his brothers and sisters.
Abraham's brother Valborg, also died in 1893.
