      JERRY LEE BOERSTE
      March 28, 1939 - January 11, 2008
      Eagle Creek resident, Jerry Boerste died at a Portland hospital, Friday, Jan. 11, 2008. He was 68.
      A funeral service will be held at Sandy Funeral Home 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 16. Burial will follow at Forrester Cemetery.
      Jerry Boerste was born March 28, 1939 in Centralia, Wash. He was raised around Oregon and Washington and after high school he entered into the U.S. Army. After his discharge, Jerry met JoAnn Anderson. They were together for 45 years. For the last 20 years of his working life, he worked in maintenance at Lloyd Center. He retired in 2001.
      Jerry enjoyed working on computers and cars. He loved hunting and being in the outdoors.
      He is survived by his companion, JoAnn Anderson of Eagle Creek.
